Neverending City Streets
Acoustic Modern Rock from Victoria BC
Contact DetailsTeagan Kelk
Teagan Kelk and Cody Wilson are from the band Near the Mark, but they formed this project for mellower shows that are more appropriate for acoustic music. This came about on the day of an Open Mic Night at Oak Bay High School. They'd been considering playing at it with the whole band, but a few days beforehand, the band hadn't made any progress on putting together a set so they decided to skip this gig.
However, on the day of the show (two hours before it started), Cody asked Teagan if he wanted to do a few acoustic songs for it. So they quickly decided to play "Waiting..." by City and Colour and "Reserved", an original from our band. This first gig went well, so they continued to make a few coins busking these songs of the streets of Victoria.
Eventually, they decided to call it a side project and gave it an epic name: Never-Ending City Streets. Ever since then, we've been practicing lots of covers for busking, and beginning to write our own material. So expect to hear us in the future....
