Archived Bio:
Guitarist from Self Regime, Myopia, Cum Soc and Ninth Hour-and freelance writer. Local metal head (obviously). I also work @the Asbalt, mostly doing security (watching the band gear)-so nothing personal, but try using the front door to go smoke, it just makes my job easier. I want to get at least a band to tour on a semi-regular basis, getting music out all over the world signed or not would be nice. And not that I care about being a rock star, but it'd be nice if the only thing I did for a living was play guitar. Been at for 22 years this spring. I've played in bands such as Ninth Hour, Ultra Vires, Disaster Area, Nyarlathotep (not the Black Metal band), Anal Detonator, Fatal Vision, Myopia, Cryptic Rot, Gristle Chewer, Invictus, Cum Soc, and Self Regime. Self Regime is pretty much a majority of everything I'm into, but mostly metal. Influences include a wide variety of stuff some obvious, some not: Randy Rhodes, Chuck Schuldiner,Yngwie Malmsteen, John McLaughlin, Cretin (Daylgo's), Piggy (Voivod), Dick Dale, Tipton/Downing, Oz Fox, Joe Wowk, etc. My ultimate goal is probably somewhat similar to
what was described in Fight Club, or Stephen King's the Stand, or similar to the end of John Carpenter's Escape from LA, you know, when Snake activates the EMP satellites, pretty much wiping out all technology(thus destroying modern commerce, gov't etc). Also, one day I'd like to either have a pic of myself or my band on the cover of YM magazine.
