rap/hip-hop from Gananoque Ontario

Contact Details

R.a.w.child (Will Wright)is a talented musical and theatrical performer. He has found his niche and passion in writing and performing hip-hop music. His goal is to pursue his dream of becoming a major, influential hip-hop artist. The realism of his music is the vehicle he uses to express and portray life experiences.

Will grew up in the small town of Gananoque in Ontario and was born to entertain. From an early age he was singing and acting in school and community plays. Will also had several professional acting roles. In 1999, he and a few friends formed a rock band called "Zero Hour" and were together for 2 years. He was the drummer for this band but occassionally took centre stage as the lead singer.

In 2002, Will became a member of "Drop 4", a pop, all boy singing group from Pickering, Ontario, signed with Whipback PBI Inc. and Sextant Records (EMI).

However, in the spring of 2004, Will decided to pursue a solo career as a hip-hop artist --- writing and performing his own songs. He has teamed up with Nick Apa, Wavelab Productions Inc. to produce some wicked tracks. His rapping style has been influenced by several great artists such as Tupac, 50 Cent and Eminem, but his lyrics reflect his own life experiences. Will, known as r.a.w.child is destined to be the next sought after rapper.

r.a.w.child is currently recording his first solo album to be released by the spring of 2005. Check out his web-site at www.rawchild.com. You can contact r.a.w.child at [email protected]
