New Features

We've been working hard on a new look and format for the site. We've added a new cleaner, more modern look, and replaced the 'classic' frames based layout with one more compatible with current practices and social networking.

Here are some of the key improvements:

Universal Search

There is now a search box at the top right of every page. This searches all aspects of the site at once (shows, bands, musicians, resources and audio samples.) The results are ordered based on which section of the site you are currently on.

New Event Pages

Each show now gets it's own Event Page with all the details of the show so it's easy to get all the information in one spot. Event pages now contain ticket locations, artist bios, and a free small and large version of the poster.

Improved Profile Pages

Your band, musician, or resource profile now gets a more fully featured profile page containing all of your details, your upcoming and recent shows and links to your pages and profiles on any and all social networking sites. Your profile pages now get a simple url of your choice like http://livevictoria.com /yourband so they are easy to share and provide an ideal first stop that links to everywhere else you can be found on the web.

Facebook Event Posting

Once you've listed your show on livevictoria.com you can now have it create a facebook event with a few clicks. The event will be pre-populated with artist bios, venue addresses, start times and any other details you've added to your listing, making this the ideal first place to list your show.

More Posters

The new design shows multiple posters on every page, so you can easily see what's coming up. Advertising your poster now guarantees you many times more impressions for your poster.
